Complete uninstall of Sharepoint Services 3.0 from Windows 2008 Server

I need a solution to completely remove WSS V3 from Windows 2008 Server. I don't plan to re-install. I know from the past if I do it from Add/Remove I'll have the Windows Internal Database mess. Do I remove Windows Internal Database first and what are the steps for a clean removal of WSS 3.0?

It should uninstall when you uninstall WSS....but if not check the following.....

Windows 2008 Server has Server Manager Remove Features Wizard for Windows Internal Database. The info file displays"

Removing Windows Internal Database
Because multiple applications and services use the same instance of Windows Internal Database, removing these applications and services does not remove the data store. If you have removed all applications and services that use Windows Internal Database, you can then remove it by using the Server Manager Remove Features Wizard.

Still need the steps for a clean removal of WSS 3.0 to bring back machine as if it was never installed

The problem that lead to this was MS Sercuity Update for Windows Sharepoint Services 3.0 (Kb983444)
and this solution did not work because I believe the update was for 32bit and my insall is 64. I not able to uninstall it from Progams and Features.
