Organizer Data Synchronization problem on Blackberry Enterprise Server Express

About a week ago we setup Blackberry Enterprise Server Express software package on a Server 2003 R2 box. Connected to the Active Directory on a SBS Server 2003 box. Then added a few users, paired up the Blackberry phones, things went well. We wanted and seemed to get full synchronization between users mailbox including email, contacts, calendar, tasks, etc. The problem is when a user (happens with all users) deletes an email from their Outlook client on a workstation or laptop, it does NOT delete from the Blackberry. Same with the reverse, a user deletes an item from the Blackberry, it does NOT delete from the users mailbox, as it still remains in the users inbox. We need for deleted mail pieces to sync badly!

I chose a user, went to Messaging Configuration > Default Configuration, then tab Organizer Data Synchronization, in General section (while editing user) turned off, saved, then turned back on Wireless Synchronization. This had no effect. In the same Default Configuration area, tabbed to E-Mail, in Redirection settings, chose Selected folders, then checked Deleted Items, saved, this had no impact.

Any help is much appreciated!

Hello Sunnyc7
The fix for the delete from BB then deletes from mailbox is set on the BB device. Here’s the method: On the phone open Messaging Icon > Menu > Options > Email Reconciliation > choose preferred option here > SAVE settings- do NOT escape by pressing Blackberry button, choose Save.

Your reference to KB to do deletes from the inbox sync (or delete) to BB is the ticket…THANKS!!
You're welcome man :-)
