I am using InfoPath 2007, and if a user enters a phone number with the standard (xxx)xxx-xxxx format, I want to set the field to strip out the parentheses and dash to just be xxxxxxxxxx.  I have already successfully added a data validation rule so that the user is shown a screen tip error message if they enter anything but numbers.  What I would like to do is be able to have the field convert what the user enters as the phone number in the (xxx)xxx-xxxx format and convert it to the xxxxxxxxxx format.
