ASP.NET 2.0.xx on WSUS 3 SP2 Event 1309

I'm having issues with clients on my WSUS server and trying to not rebuild it considering it services about 17000 clients. After recent updates and other software that was installed I keep getting ASP.NET 1309 event id's. Some clients are not reporting in since this has started and the WSUS console keeps crashing. This is after removing the WSUS retaining DB, LOGS and Content. I went as far as to remove WSUS, IIS, and all the .net framework then re-installed it all.

thanks for the responses however I had reviewed those threads and succesfully removed WSUS, IIS and all the .NET framework leaving the WSUS content and DB intact. After all that I re-installed in reverse order it started showing these events right after I installed all over again. Clients are not reporting properly since this showed up. Any other ideas?

I have reviewed all the IIS security settings, WSUS directory settings etc, I find it strange that it seems like 50/50 that clients are reporting properly and others are not and each time the ones that are not working properly this event shows up
