Restrict Usage of DLL

I built a VB6 .dll and I would like to somehow only allow usage from Excel VBA that I wrote.

I know VBA code is not secure, thus the reason on why I built a .dll that has passwords.

This doesn't keep the 'smarter' people cracking into my Excel VBA and figuring out how to use the DLL for themselves.

Is there a way to restrict access to the dll.??

Is there a way to have a VB6 dll know what application or process is trying to call itself.??

Any insight would be great.

Thanks
