Server 2008 System Log Error. Event ID: 5719 Source: NETLOGON
I have an Server 2008 server that is getting the following error: Its almost like the computer account in active directory is corrupt. Any ideas? Thanks.

Make sure the server is pointing to internal DNS servers only. If you do not have Exchange the server giving you trouble disable IPv6. Run ipconfig /flushdns and ipconfig /registerdns.
Seems like the secure channel password needs to be reset for the 2008 server.

I had to remove the server from the domain and readd it again. thanks.
You can in any case log in with a local administrator account and troubleshoot from there, in this case, the network connection seems to be the issue.
Also, make sure firewall is disabled on the DC, to rule out any firewall issues (eg. NETLOGON not reaching the DC cause it's being blocked..)
