no GUI for ASA 5505 when IP is changed....

I was configuring an ASA 5505 and I set the inside IP address to be 10.0.0.1 instead of the default 192.168.1.1. Once I did this I cannot reach the GUI anymore. I can still ping it, the interface is up, but I can't manage it via https://10.0.0.1. The only thing that seems to work was the original https://192.168.1.1

How can I get the GUI to listen on the new address? That seems really weird because even a Linksys box will update itself where you can manage it via the new ip address....

Along with changing the IP address, make sure you allow the 10.0.0.0/24 subnet access to manage it.

that's what it was. Thanks for that.

It seems like that should be automatic if you change the interface, but whatever.
