Capturing Email Information from Broadcast Email Campaign

well, you could use something like icontact.com to let them send the email broadcast.  They'll be able to show you click through's and all.

I was thinking along the lines of providing code at my end to handle this.  We don't plan to hire a service to send the emails at the outset.

Ya, They're pretty inexpensive though.  between $9-25 a month for unlimited sends to contacts.  These days developing an app to do it internally will cost way more than that.  Plus, these companies have agreements in place to be whitelisted, so way less goes into spam - and way less chance of your domain being flagged as a spam sending domain.

I understand what you're saying but these are opt in accounts and I was asked if it could be done so I need to deliver something as an answer that shows I did the due diligence and am not blowing them off.
