Cannot uninstall iSeries Client Access

For some reason I cannot uninstall IBM iSeries Access in WIndows 7, I get a message saying Uninstall Utility has stopped working and when I click on details it tells me Problem Event Name APPCRASH, Application Name CWBUNINS.EXE Do you know what the problem could be? Thanks!

With uninstall issues it typically happens when you delete the install source file or delete a core file from the directory where the program lives. The best way to remove programs that will not uninstall is Windows Cleanup Utility...

Only certain versions of  iSeries client access are supported for Windows 7, namely V6R1:

and only Enterprise/Ultimate SKUs in the Windows 7 family.   If you installed an incompatible version, you might need to use System Restore to back out the install. And the shell extensions don't work on 64-bit and the /separate trick was removed in Windows 7 I believe, so you won't be able to configure a 5250 session from the IBM Navigator (well, at least not easily).

Yeah, that's the problem.  Only XP and below supports V5R3.
