SBS Backup failed on D: "The system cannot find the path specified."
Backups are partially failing nightly at 8:30pm on a SBS 2003 SP2 server with all updates installed. I get this error below:
Searching for this error pointed me here:
http://us.generation-nt.com/ntbackup-fails-see-local-drive-help-70675592.html
It sugests creating a batch file that runs NTBackup to check for permission errors, but I'm not sure how to read the output.
Here's the batch file:
This is the output I get:
Can someone interpret this & tell me if permissions are set correctly?
I've checked the event logs but don't see any specific error. The only anomaly I see is in the backup log with the error above.
Thanks.

1. This test job completed.
2. As far as what changed in my normal SBS backup, I had to change the destination to our NAS device since the external they used is acting up.
3. This is only a test backup from a script I got online. Normally it runs the default SBS backup from System Management.

You should definitely use he SBS version since there are too many pitfalls if you are not familiar with SBS otherwise. You will have to manually exclude lots of stuff or let SBS do it for you.

2) What has changed ?
3) Exchange data should not be backed up directly
I hope this helps !
