What Happens to an SBS 2003 Server if you turn off FRS?

The title says it all -- we are getting journal errors on an SBS 2003 server. Since SBS can't replicate with another domain controller, what would happen if we stopped the FRS service altogether? Would it create other problems?

AD still relies on FRS, so no, do not disable it. Instead, fix your journal wrap errors:

That's false.  You can have 100 other domain controllers if you want.  The restriction is that you CANNOT run multiple SBS servers on the same domain.  

I also am curious why you think it would be better to ignore an error than to resolve it?
