How do I manually change the serial number for an expired ZENworks Patch Management Server?

Another renewal time and Novell changed our activation code again,  is there a quick manual process to change the serial number instead of contacting Novell?

I believe the only thing you can do in the Patch Management console after the license expires is to update the license.  If you're using the ZENworks Control Center (ZCC) you can select the Configuration and then find and select the license update.  I believe the license is stored inside one of the databases and not as a file so updating or switching it manually like I did last week on some other product renewals isn't possible.

I am running ZENworks 7 Patch Management 6.x, and only have access to the web portal.  It only ask to update licenses and it doesn't do anything else in regards to changing serial numbers.  Anything else I can try?

Well I had to have Novell change the new generated serial number again, its the only way for this version of ZPM.
