OWA 2003 not working internally or externally

when I go to https://servername/exchange I get a IE page cannot display the webpage.  My OWA was working just fine until today when I had to become PCI compliant and make a couple changes with disabling forms based authenication and Set the UseHostName Property: cscript adsutil.vbs set w3svc/x/UseHostName true.  Now OWA doesn't work internally or externally.
I've tried reversing both changes, but OWA still won't work.

First please delete sethostname entry.

adsuitil get w3svc/1/sethostname

and see if there is an enty if yes

adsutil delete w3svc/1/sethostname

and please reset the virtual directroies by using method 2 of KB 883380.

now check again if owa works and make sure there is all unassigned selected in default website
