Dear All,

I receive all SMTP through TMG 2010 to my exchange 2010 server. Now I install another exchange 2010 server, how I can configure ISA sending SMTP to both of those servers?

Thanks

you will configure the 2 servers to use NLB and then publish that single IP and allow SMTP traffic to ithttp://blogs.kraftkennedy.com/index.php/2009/11/25/configuring-nlb-for-exchange-2010-cas-load-balancing/

DAG is configure, i can't configure NLB

then you cannot configure that to be automatic, in case of server failure you will need to edit the rule manually

i think the TMG can do the load balancing

for web sites (HTTP/HTTPS) only

Busbar is correct if you cannot WNLB your servers (since you have them in a DAG) then you cannot send SMTP to both you will need to send to only one of them.

TMG cannot do Load Balancing for SMTP connections.

What you can do is create 2 A records in your DNS with the same name (say mail.domain.com) pointing each to the IP of one of your exchange servers and enable DNS round robin in your DNS.

In this case their will be load balanced but in case of failure you will still need manual intervention just like you will need to do in all cases since you have DAGs and CAS on the same servers.

alternatively buy a hardware loadblancer

ok what about load balancing the TMG 2010 ?
in this case even if the Exchange Server 2010 got some redundancy but if TMG 2010 got problem / dead then the company will lost its connection to the internet pretty much ?
