Is it possible to get multimonitor support working when using rww through sbs2003? I know rdp7 has support for multi monitors. Has anyone experimented with this?

Hi,

Are you looking to expand the Remote Desktop across two monitors at the remote end?  If so I don't think you can do this; it has been asked before and an MVP replied that it wasn't possible.  http://www.eggheadcafe.com/software/aspnet/33141953/-dual-monitor-support.aspx (scroll from the bottom up).

OK - so, like I said, this isn't possible at the moment with SBS 2008.

Actually I was asking about sbs 2003. I though it was supported in SBS 2008?

Only server 2008 R2 supports multi-monitor access, but not SBS 2003, SBS 2003 R2, Server 2008 or SBS 2008.

You can "spread" the screen over 2 monitors which is a crude option if you have one of the newer RDP clients and start it using the span option . Not sure if the works with 2003 but will with server/SBS 2003 R2

I've deployed this at 2 of my clients with Server 2003 and Server 2008 Terminal Servers, and it works like a champ in both situations.  http://www.splitview.com/download  It has to be installed on the server, but is compatible with both 32 and 64 bit.
