Can;t print using an HP 1410 and windows 7 home edition
Im trying to print from an HP 1410 printer using my windows 7 home edition printer. When i installed the software from my printer to the windows 7 box. I can send the print jobs to the printer however the jobs will only queue and never print. I took a look at the print spooler and it was started, so i restart the spooler with no change.

The printer is connected with a USB and is not networked.
This is the case where the drivers did not install properly.
Also is this x32 or x64 machine?

This is why I am suggesting replacing the drivers with the Windows drivers. ... Thinkpads_User

this is an x32 bit machine
Did you follow setup instructions to the letter ?
Some setups require device setup (software) prior to plugging in the USB
and switching on the printer.

Its seems that there were newer drivers for this printer. After the download and install I was able to get the printer online.
Thank you, and I was pleased to assist. ... Thinkpads_User
Also, did you receive errors when installing the printer?
If you go to Start --> Devices and Printers, do you see anything strange when you look at the printer?
If all of this works, double click on the printer, a queue screen shows up. Click printer and try and check and see if "pause printing" is enabled. If so, disable it.
