How do I use the line Jump in Visio 2007

I am trying to have my line connectors to show line jump especially when I have 2 lines crossing each other.  I want them to appear as kink at the point of intersection instead of just lines crossing each other.  It's important for me to distinguish between a primary connection and a secondary connection...it does not look pretty or presentable if the lines do not show that feature.  I have tried to follow the help but whatever I do, it doesn't help.

Please Help.

Thanks

You are using connectors and not just drawn lines?  If you draw lines, you also need to draw the jumps.

Whether I use the connector Tool next to the Pointer Tool or Drawing tools, it's the same result.

If you'd like to post a sample drawing that isn't working the way you'd like it to, I'd be happy to take a look at it.

I have tried all options.  Nothing changes no matter what I choose.  Also while you are at it, can you pleae let me know how to draw lines with multiple corners without having to use multiple disjointed connectors...I just want one continous line with multiple vertices such that when you highlight it, you only highlight once and be able to delete it intsead of having to highlight each segment of the line.

Thanks

There must be an obscure setting in your document that was preventing line jumps. I looked but couldn't find it. However, I copied the everything from your drawing into a new network drawing and, voila, the line jumps are there! (I did replace the left most green line because it was routed very strangely, but everything else is a simple copy/paste.)
