Description:
At random intervals different users are getting their Outlook icon on the taskbar switched to a powerpoint Icon. It only seems to hapen when Outlook is open and occurs when Outlook is the only open application as well. Closing and Opening Outlook seems to fix the issue but it remains confusing for users.

I'm guessing a bug in Office 2010 in relation with 2008 R2 Remote Desktop but I figure I'd check here. I found numerous reports of the same issue on the net but no fix.

i'd agree that it seems like a bug.  all the information i see is fairly recent.  i'm sure it's already on Microsoft's to do list.

I'm requesting my solution here, http:#a33290548, be accepted.  Although, it doesn't immediately provide a solution, I believe it inevitably will.  Also, since it has been identified as a bug and no solution has been made available, this alone should have been grounds for accepting my solution here, http:#a33130724.  Thoughts?
