public follder calendar and blackberry

the blackberry devices only synch with personal Outlook mailbox calendars as far as I am aware, same with contact folders - one folder of each type.  the only way he/she would get the updates, would be if they had copies of these notifications in their own calendar as well.

you could try synching the public calendar to something like Google Calendar, and draw it back down onto the device that way - but you may end up 'polluting the users calendar'.  I also read somewhere a while back, that you could also add the public folder via the Desktop Manager and synch via USB to add it to the handset, although there is only one Calendar function, it would add all the appointments together and give one overall picture.

it cannot be done, it can only sync with the personal mailbox of the user (calendar/email etc...)
