Hi, I have an CRM 4.0 Enterprise with the last UR11
Server01 is the App. Server (Async Service) and in server02 the Web Server.
When I want to setup the Outlook Client, i only can connect to the App. Server (http://server01:5555), then I select the right organization and the setup has done without problem.
When I start the Outlook I receive an error "can´t connect the CRM http://server01:5555).
Is there a way to specify the app. server and web server in the config?
I use the last CRM Client over the Office 2010 Pro.
Thanks!

You need to update the Deployment Properties Table in the MSCRM_CONFIG DB.
Because you installed Server01 first, the table contains the values for Server01, where likely you want Server02.

USE MSCRM_CONFIG

Update DeploymentProperties SET NvarCharColumn = '<server>:<port>' WHERE ColumnName = 'ADSdkRootDomain'
Update DeploymentProperties SET NvarCharColumn = '<server>:<port>' WHERE ColumnName = 'ADWebApplicationRootDomain'

One other item  - Make sure the Outlook is 32 bit the CRM for Outlook Client doesn't support 64bit for CRM 4.0.  They have also stated that there are no plans on supporting 64bit with the CRM 4.0 client.

I seem to remember some where that there may be a reg edit as well to ensure that it is 32 bit but I am not remembering it off the top of my head, if I find the link I saw it in I will post it here.
