Network capacity between two endpoints
Hello,
I administer several Windows servers and sometimes I need to know the network connection's speed between two hosts (e.g. a DB server and a Backup Storage server). Is there any portable app (or client/server app) that is able to measure this?
I was trying to search on google but all I get is websites that measure my internet connection speed.
Best Regards,
Levente Rog

Simple but nice tool, oloap88!
Too bad it can't test an environment where file and printer sharing is disabled.

yes, as you said is quite simple... anyway googleing lan sped test you can find something more professional, maybe not freeware, if you need so...
which metric are you referring to? the physical link speed (Mbps) or data transfer speed (MB/s)?
however, you might be interested in some free utilities here.
