I have and Windows 2003 environment, MOSS 2007.  I have smtp and have been receiving email into document libraries.  All of a sudden, SharePoint isn't picking up the email from the drop folder.  I've check the database and the email addresses all match and are correct.  Nothing has changed in the configuration of the incoming email.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.  This is in our production environment.

I really need some more information to diagnose this problem

Are all the SharePoint services running?

When you look through the SharePoint jobs on the central administration are you getting any failures?

If you look through the event viewer aare you getting any errors?

When you look through the SharePoint logs are you finding any errors?

Services are running, but I see that the incoming email has not run on the CA server for a couple of days.  Nothing in the event veiwer.  Nothing I can find in the SharePoint logs, I have it set for verbose on the email, but nothing when I try to send one and it doesn't go through.

You're right! :)  Thanks, I did just try that and it worked.  For some reason, my servers lost connectivity to the database server that night.  I'll have to research that some more.
