VMX Locator works great for us on our Trixbox 2.8 install, but the GUI only allows you to set options 0, 1, and 2.  I have read that it is possible to make more options available, but they are not available to change in the GUI.  How do I make option 9 available?

Trixbox works off a database (MySQL or PostGRES).

My suggestion would be to open up the CLI for the databse, and look at the tables to see if you can find where those options are stored. Once you find them, simply insert option 9.

I've looked through the SQL database and did some searching with no luck.  Is there anywhere else this could be?

Got it.
I used the script here: http://www.voip-info.org/tiki-index.php?page=Web+based+Asterisk+Database+maintenance

I then changed the password in the script file to the password found in /etc/asterisk/manager.conf and dumped the test.php file into /var/www/html/
Then I could go to http://trixboxserver/test.php and add entries like so:
Family: AMPUSER
Key: 102/vmx/unavail/9/context
Value: from-internal
Family: AMPUSER
Key: 102/vmx/unavail/9/ext
Value: 600
Family: AMPUSER
Key: 102/vmx/unavail/9/pri
Value: 1
Which allows extension 102 to use option 9 in the voicemail VMX to go to ring group 600
