Is flash memory from a Cisco 2600 series router compatible with 3600 series routers?

I'm running into an issue configuring a Cisco 3640 router, and it appears that either the flash memory is either bad or not compatible (I have the most recent bootstrap).  The store that sells the memory sells the same flash memory for all 2600/3600 series, but everywhere else I've looked has different part numbers for the different series routers.  However, I haven't found anything conclusive showing if they use the same flash SIMMs.  Thanks for your help.
