RegEdit - Camera Options

When I hook my IPhone to the computer I get the below asking what programs I want to use to open to deal with my pictures.  I want to get rid of most of these and just include the below in the list.  There must be a way to deal with this.

Windows Explorer
Directory Opus 9
Google Picasa 3

Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks for the info but I need to show my ignorance here.  There are 45 folders under ...\Explorer\AutoplayHandlers\Handlers - What do I do from here.

Work out which handlers refer to the options you want to get rid of, then delete the key for each of those handlers.  Be sure to back up the entire handlers key before you start.

I'm showing my ignorance here - I not an expert on the registry.  As you can see on

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\AutoplayHandlers\Handlers

there is only the default key, however underneath there are 45 folders all with keys.  Only about 10 programs show when I hook the IPhone so I presume I need to delete the keys in some folder.

I'm sorry I'm such a rookie here.

The keys are the ones that look like folders.  The things you see in the right hand pane are values. I'm thinking you probably need to delete the keys which relate to the autorun options you want rid of.  Make sure you back up the entire handlers key before you start fiddling (right click the key and select export).

I killed all but two folders and it didn't work - It still comes up with all the programs as in my original post.  Any Ideas?

Thanks LJG

Thanks you pointed me in the right direction.

1) goto HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StillImage\Events\Connected\
and edit as beechy talks about above

2) In my case I also had to edit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\StillImage\Events\Connected\

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002\Control\StillImage\Events\Connected\

3)  Shut down

4) When you restart you should have deleted the programs you don't want.

Thanks again Beechy
Well done for sussing the rest out for yourself :)
