IE URLMON.DLL error and Icon problem after Trojan infection

I have a WinXP user who got hit with a Trojan. I used MalWarebytes and ComboFix to fix it - or so I thought. When attempting to start Internet Explorer I get a URLMON.DLL error and the browser crashes. Also, anohter instance of the IE icon is created on the desktop.

Any hope of fixing or should I just wipe and reinstall.

Open a run command and type in:
regsvr32 urlmon.dll click [OK] and Reboot after the successful message for
registering the Dll appear.

Commented:
more than likely it is not the M$ link, but reregistering the DLL.

Well. Thanks all for the suggestions but in the end what saved it was a reinstall of Internet Explorer 8. I then re-ran Malwarebytes and cleaned up a few more things.
