Can't play DVD's in Fedora?

Hello, I have Fedora 13 and have no problems playing video files that I have on my hard drive, but when I attempt to play a DVD I'm running into trouble...

If I attempt to load a DVD using Media Player then it crashes and displays:

   'Warning: A crash in package totem-2.30.2-1.fc13 has been detected'.

And if I attempt to play it using VLC, then VLC just closes itself...

I can, however, access the disk (as if it were a folder) so there are no problems in actually reading the disks.

Any suggestions?

Thanks very much!

Did you anything in the logs when the application closes or crashes? I guess it has to do something with some codec or dependency for playing the DVD on Fedora

Is libdvdcss installed?

I don't believe I have libdvdcss installed, no. Do you know which repository it's with now? I've been hunting the net for a while but can't find it...

Thanks

It's in Livna:

$ rpm -ivh http://rpm.livna.org/livna-release.rpm
$ rpm --import /etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-livna

Ah it required a reboot, but now plays DVD's fine!

The only bad news is that this installation seems to have messed up my screen resolution (again)! =(

Keep an eye out for a new thread ;)

Thanks
