VM ESX
I have an ESX Server within my VM Workstation. And I have another VM in workstation running XP.
For some reason, I cannot get the XP machine to ping the ESX Server. They are both on the same network 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.0.2 on a class B
The ESX Server says "disconnected" for VMnet0 because naturally I think ESX ties to your physical adapter. Even if I put the physical adapter with a static IP on the same network, it doesn't connect. The laptop is not connected to the network, it's simply a lab.
I'm sure this is a simple issue. Just getting XP to ping ESX within VM Workstation. I can easily do this with two XP VMs.
Thanks
