How to configure JMS on JBOSS running behind a firewall?

We have a JBOSS 4.0.0 running on Linux and the JMS part is configured to use Oracle database. This server acts as an Admin server and will transmit messages to clients. The clients are running JBOSS 4.0 RC2 on Windows XP? If the firewall is turned off on the Linux box, messages are flowing to the clients. Even the client machines need to turn off firewall to receive messages. How to transmit messages with firewall turned on both at the server and client?

Configure the firewalls to let the traffic through.

ASKER

We have opened ports 1098 and 1099 on the firewall but still no success.
Can you check the server port in (deploy/jms/uil2-service.xml) and open that too? It would be identified with this tag

<attribute name="ServerBindPort">
