Hi;

My computer is using Windows XP /sp3, when I run Windows
Update, I got  "[Error number: 0x8024D00C]".  I tried this KB http://support.microsoft.com/kb/914226 steps to fix it but no luck.

Anyone know how can I fix my problem?

Try MS's fixit
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058

If that dosn't work scan for malware:>

Tdsskiller.exe http://support.kaspersky.com/viruses/solutions?qid=208280684

and/or:

Combofix(post logfile here) http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix
My advice when dealing with Windows updates is to disable Automatic updates in control panel, these supposed updates nearly always cause trouble. If you cannot resolve your problem then try SYSTEM RESTORE to before you did this update. Another way to do updates is to goto to use AUTO PATCHER, do search on Google.

The above suggestion was obtained from this next article.  It is the entry by "Immu" that follows previous advice by the Microsoft MVP "torgeir" >>
