WER folder
hi
in my windows server 2008 i have a space issue in c drive, i run "treesize" to look for the heavy folder and the only abnormal folder i see is in ,in my administrator profile, there is a folder that reached the size of 6 GB ,the folder is called WER and it is in appsdata folder in my profile
what is this folder and can i delete it do save space?

That's the Windows Error Reporting folder. You can safely remove all the files in there without having to worry, as they are files built up when problems occur in order to send information to Microsoft. If you want to not worry about it again, Follow these instructions: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc754364.aspx

how do you delete them?from the Windows Error Reporting interface?

thanks man ,i know that , i saw in another forum that it is not recommended to delete this folder because it will make problem next time i will restart my server
Nah. Just turn off error reporting and blow out the folder.
