Where are gpo's located, exactly?

When I create a gpo on an OU it's really just a link.  Where are these gpo's located? can I delete an ou where I've created the gpo's?  will the gpo's still be accessible?

If you use the Group Policy Management console from the admin tools you will see a container called group policies - thats where they are. To delet an OU you should use Active Directory Users and Computers, and yes - ant GPOs will still be in the group policies container
