Hi all
i need to add a single usb dongle for licensing purposes for 1x virtual machine
(windows vista x64)
running inside a hp dl380g6 server.

i´ve read various methods for doing this and it seems i have two choices
1. get a usb over network solution
2. use VMDirectPath

i think that if i can use the VMDirectPath solution that would be the best since usb over network solution costs money, therefor i just want to confirm that VMDirectPath does indeed work with our specific server, we have alot of critical virtual servers running on the server and i dont want to screw anything up if i decide to follow this guide,
basically what i really need to know is if the

HP DL380 G6 server meets the requirements listed on the below link :

You can easily see if you go to the Configuration tab -> Advanced. It will display if your host is supported. Make sure Intel-VT/AMD-V is enabled in your BIOS, as well as IOMMU.

so this feature wouldn´t be shown otherwise ?
(see picture)
would i simply select the usb controller that the usb chip is connected to from the options,
is a reboot of the esxi server neccisary ?
i am just trying to be extra careful so i dont screw up anything.
