i am not sure what dlls need to be of same version? actually i have compared with another exchange server i have and these two dlls also are of different version and that server is working fine. i have no idea what is happening

please help

and that kb patch will patch a lower version dlls.... will this not a good way?
i apologize that  is not the right hotfix for sure.just checked the file versions on kb again..
please restart the system attendent and microsoft exchange info store service
before that  increase disgnostic loggin for
and  MSExchangeTransport

and we will collect the error of warnings of our interest

it seems like for some reason the public folder is being corrupted and everytime i try to start the public folder the info store is crash.

here i am thinking of few options:

1. use some fix corruption tools to fix the db, please suggest a tool, thanks.
2. restore from a recent backup which is around 11 hours ago and let it sync with the replication master at long distance
3. simply delete the public folder store and make a new one and let it sync with the replication master at long distance

for 1, i am not sure if this is going to work. for 2/3, i am not sure which one will be faster.

please advice.
you mean the store process crashed only when you mount the PF database ?

or you access a aspecific item on the public folder.... (in this case a item might be currutp.deleting that can fix)

before we go towards fixing issue.. let us better understand what really the issue is

if you suspect PF is the issue. please increase the diagnostic logging for public folder as well

you can do what you planned .. and might fix what you facing .. my approach is to get a little deeper and find what caused it. so that we can avoid it in future or at least be prepaired

Thank you
from what the origional error  is the smtp service that is causing issue
i would say remove iis and add iis again and reinstall exchange ..

i will look in to events generated by
service controller manager  and smtpsvc before i do that

here ..
