I have setup the XMpp chat server, am at a point where i need to allow communication over the internet.
I need help in setting up the connection Manager..

You can use some free clients (http://xmpp.org/software/clients.shtml) to connect to your server.
Your server is Openfire then I think you are using Spark client. Could you copy your debug log and paste its content in here for troubleshooting?
Or telnet command, something like this telnet xmpp.org 80 (telnet domainname/ipaddress port) .

We dropped this for time being cudnt come to conclusion..

Thanks for helping me on this.. I have checked
- Port 5222 is running on your server hosting xmpp server. Do you have server-to-server communication?
- Your firewall need enable port 5222
not sure how to deal the dns bindind?
How do i check if i can access the xmpp server from oputside..?
I am not a programmer and i have a very basic knowledge with this..
