Hello Groznywozny,

You have to make sure your xmpp server be able access from outside.
Here is simple check list:
  - Port 5222 is running on your server hosting xmpp server. Do you have server-to-server communication?
  - Your firewall need enable port 5222
  - Some xmpp servers work with DNS binding only and does not work with IP address

If you configured it to work, i assume you used the right domain name etc.
in that case you need to allow port 5222 for unencrypted / TLS access and 5223 for SSL access.
(and point an external DNS to the right IP address).
Hello,

You can use some free clients (http://xmpp.org/software/clients.shtml) to connect to your server.
Your server is Openfire then I think you are using Spark client. Could you copy your debug log and paste its content in here for troubleshooting?

Or telnet command, something like this  telnet xmpp.org 80 (telnet domainname/ipaddress port) .
