Hello,

New installation of Exchange 2010. Out of th Office message are sent by Exchange (I can see them in the message tracking of Exchange). But they are sent with the local domain (contoso.local) and the local IP (192.168.0.4), so the smartost refuses them...

Anyone does have a solution ?

Thanks !

Been through this post, seems to be a different problem : the autoreply mail is sent from a loclal ip, so it can t be delivered by the smarthost. Even if I configure the MX DNS to send the emails (without smarthost), the mail is refused by the remot server for the same reason.
found the solution : the format of the out of office mail has changed since exchange 2003. the ooo mail has a null sender and can be interpreted has spam by smtp gateways. it was the case : I opened a ticket by them and they corrected the problem, now it works.
