Monitor Activesync connections

I am looking for a way to receive alerts whenever a device is connected via activesync to the network.  Why?  We limit what kind of phones are currently authorized to connect to the network.  It is a pain in the butt to have to scan through the logs and see what is connected.   I would like a way to get an alert when a device is connected so that I can verify that it is authorized.  Third party software (so long as it works) is  an acceptable solution!

Thanks in advance

What version of Exchange do you have as the solution could be version dependent?

Thanks - works like  a charm!
Any idea for an additional command to get the last sync time for each device?
Get-Mailbox | ForEach {Get-ActiveSyncDeviceStatistics -Mailbox:$_.Identity} | ft Identity, Devicetype, DeviceID, LastSyncAttemptTime
This should give you the last Sync time too or

Get-Mailbox | ForEach {Get-ActiveSyncDeviceStatistics -Mailbox:$_.Identity} | fl Identity, Devicetype, DeviceID, LastSyncAttemptTime
Should give you a longer list without truncated info.
Glad it works and thanks for the points.
Alan
