Unable to open office 2007 documents in Citrix

Hi all
We are unable to open Office 2007 files in Citrix when our users log in remotely. It displays the error that only administrators have the permission to add, remove or configure server software in a terminal session. I have installed the office 2007 compatibility pack on the server in Install mode.

Are you able to open files when logged into the server as an admin via RDP or the console?  The error message you are getting usually comes from something preventing a package installation from a terminal server session so it sounds like something is trying to install when the users open Office 2007 files.  Perhaps the installation is corrupted, try uninstalling the Office 2007 compatibility pack and see if the issue persists.  


Guys I actually tried this before and it didnt work - now icons in Word are not displaying at all and it seems to have lost all its office file associations. I reinstalled the 2007 converter but office 2003 icons still not displaying and lost its file assoc. I have tried to update the file types from registry and still not working.
When the Office Compatability Pack was installed, funny enough it didnt install the file extension, I had to manually add them and point them to the Microsoft Office Converter.
