Hi,

We are migrating from Exchange 2003 and to 2010. Almost everything runs smoothly, but some of the mailboxes ends up as a Linked Mailbox. What does this mean? And how do I change it to a User Mailbox?

See if this helps. It did for me on a couple mailboxes.

Hi again.

When I try to open the Mailbox rights from our other DC, it tells me:

"The action could not be completed because the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service in unavailable".

And on the Exchange 2010 server, in AD, there is no such thing as Mailbox Rights.

But I solved it in another way. I disabled the account and then connected it again to the matching acount and now everything is fine.
