I need a free alternative of MS Sharepoint that can work on Windows XP. Something that can contain scaduling and file sharing and message sending and other things.

I found a system called liferay.
http://www.liferay.com/
But I want to ask if the free version has a limit of the database?
Not that I can see.  It can use various database engines including MySQL.
Tell me for sure if there is a limit. The limit is not in the database, but in the software. I need to know because if there is, this is going to ruin many things.

I'm going to be blunt now - instead of expecting other people to provide you with the answers you want, go and try looking on the Liferay website as all the answers are there!  If you still can't find the answer then feel free to post here again.
I tryed it. I looket at the whole site. There is nothing about 1GB limit and that's why I try to ask people that have been using the system. The reason I think there may be a limit is that when I start the server, there is a section in which it is said I use 20% of the one GB. But my RAM and empty disk space is over one GB and there is nothing on their site AND their documentation about limiting the DB. This is why I ask, I want to be sure. I'm not from the users who just ask questions before reading first believe me.
