Synchronization problems with Outlook 200
Hi, I work for a small company that has ~125 employees. Most of them receives the following error at nearly every hour or so.
11:04:45 Carnet d'adresses en mode hors connexion de Microsoft Exchange
11:04:45 0X8004010F
The error message is in French, and so are the Exchange 2010 server and the Outlook 2007 client but I believe that you can figure out what it is.
I crawled the web for solutions but it seems like most people have solutions for Exchange 2007, not 2010.
I would really appreciate if any of you would help me out. Let me know if you need any more details.

By "Exchange System Manager", do you mean "Exchange Management Console" ?
yes.

sunnyc7 : I do not see any "Offline adress lists" in my tree. In "recipients", there is : "mailbox, mailing list, contacts, move request". The name could be slightly different as my Exchange 2010 is in French and I gave you my own translated version.
shreedhar : We do not use any proxy.

Ok. This is the most definitive post from Microsoft's Dave goldman.

You will have to go through that and see what scenarios apply to you.
Trust me 0x8004010F is a nightmare.

you can use this from shell to rebuild OAB
get-offlineaddressbook | update-offlineaddressbook

Alright, so I went a bit further, I believe...
The correct location for offline adress books is : Organization configuration > Mailbox > Offline adress book.
For my particular case, these was 2 oab and one of them was invalid. I figured that out when typed "get-offlineaddressbook | update-offlineaddressbook" command in the Exchange console. I was getting "invalid path", I do not have the exact error message. Now the command gives no output which seems to me like being fine but I get a different error in Outlook now :
07:46:15 Microsoft Exchange offline address book
07:46:15 Not downloading Offline address book files. A server (URL) could not be located
07:46:15 0X8004010F
