asked on

outlook 2007 keeps prompting for username/password

i am running exchagne 2010. users keep getting prompted by outlook 2007 to enter a username and password. is this autodiscover related? any suggestions?

the small fix did not work.

this is only happening for a few users, not everyone...the 2nd solution seems like it would need to be occuring for all users
ok.
lets start with first few steps.
a) What version of E 2007 Service Pack rollup do you have installed.

b) Lets test your autodiscover
https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com/
Test for AutoDiscover (3x2  option )

lets see what results we get.

i am running exchange 2010, Version: 14.00.0639.021

i went through the steps in the powershell for SCP, i then ran the test webservices and it all comes back saying successful. autodidiscovery is successful

but https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com still fails the same way

test-outlookwebservices says successful
