asked on
where can i find drivers for an ASUS v2-m2v890 barebones system
looking for ANY site that may have these to download. Everywhere I look wants to download their driver scanner but that doesn't help until I get the LAN driver.
The drivers are on the ASUS website:
http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=8ei5DTexMyeB4A1q&content=download

Both of those links I've already been to. The "driverstart" links to the "DriverDetective" scanner even though it says it is the driver file. The Asus link doesn't include any of the hardware drivers.
In the device manager, right click on the lan device and select properties.
Then select the "Details" tab
Use Ctrl+c to copy the device instance ID string.
Then paste it (Ctrl+v) in your reply.

obviously, I'm on a different system but here you go:
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8169&SUBS YS_8169104 3&REV_10\4 &172FB5D3& 0&4899
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8169&SUBS
I would need the numbers from the system (or identical system) you need the drivers for. Is that what you posted?

The system is an ASUS v2-m2v890 Barebones system running Windows XP
I just want to make sure, are these the numbers from the computer you need the drivers for?
