I have a new customer that just purchased a server from another IT company and am trying to figure out what Windows Server 2008 Standard FE is.  When I a do a winver it comes up with Windows Small Business Server 2008 but when I look a the properties I see Windows Server 2008 Standard FE.  Is it Windows Essential Server Solutions or Foundation Edition? And what are the benefits of this OS.  They are growing past 75 users and devices and is it limited to the 8GB of memory (Foundation Edition).

Windows Server 2008 Standard FE is the shortened name for Windows Server 2008 for Windows Essential Server Solutions. When you run the Winver tool you will see this reference.

I don't see the reference for Windows Essential Server Solutions.  How can I make sure this is the right one.
