Windows Update Blocked
I have a problematic computer on my hands that will not reach windows update. It is XP SP3. I have already run Maleware Antibytes and SAV10 on it several times to clean crap off of it. Both programs report it is clean, but I still cannot reach windowsupdate. Any ideas?
From the command prompt, what does nslookup windowsupdate.com say?
Three questions
1) Can you browse the internet?
2) Have you ever has a WSUS server on your network?
3) Do you get an error message?

Ignore the x's in there... I was trying to trick it to allow me to post it... had to save it as a word doc and post on a working computer...
Yes I can browse the internet.. no WSUS as this is a home computer, and just the traditional this page cannot be displayed.
