The name could not be resolved. The connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action.
I receive the error "The name could not be resolved. The connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action." when trying to launch Outlook 2003.
The following are the details.
- We changed the Microsoft Exchange Server for this user on this computer.
- Outlook worked fine after making the change. It quit working after disconnecting the laptop computer and then connecting it back to the network.
- This user can launch Outlook from other computers on the network using the new Exchange Server name.
- No other users can use Outlook on this computer.
