PDF files very slow to print with roaming profile user.

I have a roaming profile user that is having problems printing pdf files. It takes a long time for the print driver to come up.
I have changed out three workstations and the problem follows with the profile. He can print fine with any other application such as Microsoft Office 2007. The workstations are up to date with patches, WinXP pro.
Software on workstations:
Adobe 9.0
Microsoft Office 2007
Quickbooks 2010
ACT 2010
WinXP pro
HP 3015 printer, also Konica Minolta C353 network printer, HP Officejet 6500 (all printers behave same way)

I have given full security on all the programs that the user uses.
Have tried reinstalling adobe, all patches in all programs are up to date, reinstalled the printers.
Called Adobe support and tried changes in configuration to driver....print to image, cleaned out temp folder....

Have a feeling it's probably something simple but need help!!!
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Printers are there...the default printer is directly connected to the workstation.
This is a third new workstation. The printer driver is a new install. (direct connect one that is)

Checked network folders, they have new mappings.

It's almost like it's looking at the whole world before going to the default printer. Crazy!!!
Same delay with the administrator account ?

No delay, administrator account prints pdf's fine...no problem....
Seems to be following the profile...behaves the same way on three different machines.
Could you log with a user account, and (re)install Acrobat with administrator account (Right click on the setup file, choose run as... and choose Administrator) ?

Not sure what you mean? A different user than one in question?
Not really, check this : http://netsecurity.about.com/od/quicktips/qt/qt_run_as.htm

Log with a usual roaming profile (anyone) and use Run As... to (re)install Acrobat.

Man, thank you so much, I know this may sound crazy but you really did help...got me thinking.
Problem is solved.....it had nothing to do with what you suggested but it helped in another way.
The user had two old printer drivers from other machines. Those printers don't even exist anymore but
they followed the profile of the user. In the printers section, I deleted those old drivers and viola!! problem solved.

thanks again,

Good job! You're welcome! lol
It look like a little bit with one of my suggestion in the first post no ? ;-))
