Merging existing database with ASPNETDB - resulting table relationships
Hi, I have successfully merged ASPNETDB with my existing database using the aspnet_regsql.exe but am now confused as to how the resulting table structure will work.
Do I have to now create my own relationships between the tables eg. the exisiting tblUsers and the new dbo.aspnet_Users?

So you mean I would have to create my own relationships then?

And if I have a company table with a user_comp_id to link the 2, this will now have to be placed in the aspnet_users table?

Plus additional fields for adress etc

Oh , I get it, because I cant' update those new fields easily or directly into the aspnet_users table, I'll have to link that table to my exisitng user table, yes?
ASKER
And write a sp or trigger or whatever to enter the aspnet_user id into the user table on creation of a new user....

You can easily authenticate your users against this db.If you want to refer from your tables ,you can refer the UserId from aspnet_users to tblUsers.
