How do I change the cell size of my datagrid when editing the data in the cells

I have a datagrid on my webform (using MS Studio 2003 in VB.NET).  I have setup a "Edit" button which works fine, but when I click the edit button, the cells shrinks so small that I only see a small amount of my text (a few words!).  I then have to scroll through all the text until I get to the end of the field to add/edit the data.  Is there anyway to turn on word wrap, or enlarge the cell (in edit mode) so that I can "see" all of the data in my cell instead of shrinking things down to just a few words?
