asked on

login to multiple devices from the internet

Hi everyone,

I have a couple of devices on my network. I normaly connect to these devices for administration via their local IP address(all thes devices use port 80)

Now when i am outside the network i need to connect to these devices over the internet. I used DDNS and port forwarding. But i can connect to only 1 such device.

How can i connect to the other devices. all of which use port 80

Warm regards rodney

You will need to configure them to run off of different ports, and then use your port forwarding NAT (on your router) to specify which port goes to which device.
HTTP can run on other ports then 80, so I would pick any port number that won't interfere with anything else such as 8080,81 etc
Hello,

Set a PC inside of the LAN, RDP to that and do your connections, from there.
Either that or use DDNS to specify hostnames for each device and if your router is capable forward incoming hostnames to particular internal IP addresses (that may not be possible though).
If you want to ensure security, set up a VPN server inside the LAN and connect through that.
